Energizer bunny

Aleigh is like the energizer bunny. Today I decided to make 2 loaves of banana bread to throw in the freezer so we will have a little something yummy ready after Amelia arrives. I read about the best idea to make the banana bread then cut into slices then freeze each slice, so all you have to do is throw a slice in the microwave when you want some! While I was at it I made some of my aunt's famous banana pudding! Yumm. Talk about difficult to do while Aleigh is awake! She got into just about everything possible in the kitchen then got into my purse, all her toys and even some toilet paper in the bathroom as I forgot to close the door. She is used to getting more attention so then she was really fussy in the middle of all the baking. It made me realize I am so happy I have a bunch of freezer meals prepared! I think we might just live off of freezer and crock pot meals over the next year haha I just dont see how I am going to be able to juggle both little ones and cook or bake things. Also the small group we are apart of from church has came together to do a meal train for Jake and I. What a blessing! They will be bringing us meals for about 3 weeks after Amelia arrives so we should be set for awhile!

New Blog

I decided to try and continue a blog again now that I have better internet access.

I am currently 36 weeks pregnant with another little girl. We decided to name her Amelia Rose. So far this pregnancy has been extremely easy. I am so thankful for that as I have to take care of my 11 month old daughter Aleigh as well. The only hard part has been just the exhaustion from pregnancy. Sometimes I am sitting there and Aleigh leaves the room to go get into who knows what and I just think but I just want to sit here for just a minute (ok more like 1 hr)!! But I am loving it and all the exhaustion is worth it!

One thing that I have found funny recently is you know how pregnant people are always asking someone to pick up a dropped item from the floor because they are afraid to do it or its too much work or they dont think they can? Well I constantly have to pick up item after item that Aleigh has dropped on the floor while holding her 21 lb. self. Also same kind of situation I will be playing with her on the floor then something happens and she starts crying and I have to get up by myself while holding her. Talk about a good squat exercise with the big belly that makes you unbalanced, the extra 20+lbs on yourself and the 21 lb baby. I feel like Super Mom!

As of right now I still have no idea how I will be capable of taking care of both Aleigh and Amelia on my own. I keep telling myself that God doesnt give you more than you can handle so I must be able to handle it. Then I tell myself that God is always here to help so then I will say God would you please come do my dishes? Haha just kidding I am sure he would just send someone to help but how awesome would that be.

Anyways you never know next time I post I might just be introducing little Amelia! Unless something interesting happens in the meantime.

Love, Jen
